The project is part of the Riyadh heat and power cogeneration project of the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC). It was put into production in 2014 and the planned capacity was 2x660MW. SEC is the largest power investment company in the Arab region, and its business covering thermal power, hydropower, nuclear power, wind power and many other fields. Due to the poor environmental resilience and harsh natural conditions in the Middle East, there are high requirements for environmental protection devices.
       The integrated dust removal system composed of wind fence, Typhoon and EZ Turbine provided by BME fully accommodates the local environmental conditions of high temperature, strong wind and less water.
